The licensed and insured crew at Pipestone Builders understands that a home is most often the biggest asset one will purchase in their lifetime.  We use the best building practices emphasizing long term affordability, quality, and efficiency while decreasing negative environmental impacts wherever possible.   Good use of space, materials, and time are a priority and communicating with the customer throughout the construction process is key to a successful finished product.   

With over 20 years combined experience in all aspects of building, Pipestone Builders team leaders- Pat Aippersbach and Burt Hodgdon head up a quality team of diverse craftsmanship in a highly organized manner to complete projects on time. Estimates, job cost reports, and timelines are provided to each customer at the onset of the project.    

Pat Aippersbach has had his own business specializing in quality stick-built custom homes since 2002.  Pat builds 3-5 homes per year in western North Carolina and has a proven track record of delivering a quality product on time and on budget.  Pat has a degree in Business Administration and over 30 years of management experience.

Burt Hodgdon has been working in the building industry since the 1980’s and has owned his own construction company since 2002. Burt’s past experience includes land acquisition & development, overseeing site evaluation to home completion, and managing residential construction projects in several large subdivision projects.  Burt holds a North Carolina General Contracting license, a BS in Business Administration, and over 20 years building experience and crew management.
